Andrea joined Red Umbrella Fund as a Programme Associate in November 2024. Originally from Sydney, Andrea has extensive experience in sex workers’ rights organising at local, national and international levels.
In a professional capacity, she has worked for Scarlet Alliance as a Project Officer and International Project Officer, and for the Global Network of Sex Worker Projects as an Asia Pacific Regional Consultant. She also served for several years on the Scarlet Alliance Executive Committee, in governance and representative roles.
In addition, she has worked within the trade union movement, focusing on issues of precarious labor and the gender pay gap. Andrea has been a core member of several notorious art-action collectives.
She currently resides in Berlin, where she remains committed to creative grassroots organising and community-building practices.
She speaks English fluently and has an intermediate level of German.
